UAE Fortune 100 Launched, Partnering with Expand North Star

GITEX celebrates the signing of a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding between Future 100, an initiative by the UAE Ministry of Economy, and Expand North Star, as well as other key players in the startup ecosystem.

Future 100 is a national initiative launched by the Ministry of Economy in partnership with the Minister of State for Government Development and the Future, listing, celebrating, and supporting SMEs making a promising contribution to the UAE’s future economic sectors.

Their objectives are to:

• Accelerate the growth of promising UAE ‘Future Economy’ SMEs
• Encourage investment in ‘Future Economy’ companies in the UAE
• Strengthen UAE’s position as the start-up and scale-up nation
• Support the continued sustainable growth of the ‘Future Economy’ ecosystem

Conditions for applying to the Fortune 100 are as follows: Based in or operating within the UAE. Innovating within future industries and emerging technologies.
